About me

Arjun — collector of sparks, not answers.

I grew up moving between textbooks and daydreams, and not much has changed except the textbooks are optional now. I live in Ghim Moh — third floor, fan always on, window facing a row of trees that look different every hour — and I spend more time than I should noticing things that were never meant to be noticed.

MindFlare started as a folder on my phone labelled "don't forget this." Half-baked questions, overheard fragments, the kind of observation that feels brilliant for eleven seconds and embarrassing by lunch. Eventually the folder got unwieldy, so I built this site: a proper place for improper thoughts.

What makes me curious? Fairness, mostly — why one queue moves faster, why some signs shout and others whisper. Also patterns: the same stranger twice in a week, the way habits repeat until you can't tell if you chose them. I like cafés where the tables wobble. I like markets where the uncle remembers your face even when you forget his. I like void decks at odd hours, when the tile is cool and the world feels briefly editable.

I walk Commonwealth a lot — sometimes on purpose, sometimes because I missed my turn. The park connector is where I do my best thinking, which is a polite way of saying my worst overthinking. I take the bus when it's raining because the window turns everything into a soft blur and my brain loosens up.

This is not a mental-health site, a coaching page, or a productivity hack dressed in neon. I have no credentials to sell and no programme to enrol you in. I write because the act of shaping a thought into a sentence teaches me what I actually think — and because some sparks are too good to let fizzle in silence.

If something here misfires — a date, a street name, a detail I got wrong — tell me. I'd rather fix it than let it stand.

Personal note: This site is my personal notebook on the web. What you read here comes from my own days, moods and half-formed thoughts — not from any clinic, coach or company. I write about places and people as I notice them; I don't claim to speak for anyone else. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or professional guidance.
